Introduction

SM304 is an InGaAs/Extended InGaAs linear array spectrometer with TE cooling. The SM304 series
spectrometers are very suitable for NIR near-infrared spectroscopy measurement applications that require
both high signal-to-noise ratio and large dynamic range in the 0.9 - 2.5 µm spectral range.

The high performance and low noise level of the SM304 series enable it to be used in very demanding
applications. The good sensitivity of the detectors used in the SM304 series allows a variety of
broadband applications, such as measuring the optical properties of solid/liquid/gas samples in the NIR
range, analyzing chemical composition and detecting moisture, as well as narrowband

NIR laser characterization and other applications.

The standard interface of the SM304 series is a USB 1.1/2.0 compatible interface that supports 16-bit AD
conversion. The software includes SDK and DLL for dedicated application development, as well as SM32ProMX
spectral acquisition and analysis software based on Windows operating system.
