Description

Raman spectroscopy is the "fingerprint spectrum" of molecular vibration. Different molecules have

Compared with traditional infrared and chemical methods, Raman analysis technology has many unique
advantages: Raman scattering of water is very weak, so Raman spectroscopy is an ideal tool for studying
biological samples and chemical compounds in aqueous solutions; Raman spectrum peaks are clear and sharp,
which is more suitable for quantitative research, database search, and qualitative research using
differential analysis; Raman can cover a range of 4000 wave numbers at the same time, and can analyze
organic and inorganic substances. On the contrary, if the infrared spectrum covers the same range, the
grating, beam splitter, filter and detector must be changed; samples (solid, liquid, gas) used for Raman
measurement do not need pretreatment, and have a series of advantages such as non-contact, non-
destructive, real-time, fast, and can directly detect raw materials through transparent packaging.

The BRS-532 series Raman spectrometer is equipped with a narrow linewidth low-power laser with an
excitation wavelength of 532nm. Its spectral range can reach up to 4000cm-1, and the spectral resolution
can be better than 8cm-1. Different sensitivity specifications can be selected according to the strength
of the Raman spectrum, namely BRS-532-01 general type and BRS-532-02 high sensitivity type. The
instrument has stable performance, is easy to carry, and supports OEM customization and secondary
development, which provides great convenience for Raman detection in laboratories and on-site.
